Description
ASA KEMBARA is a piece for unaccompanied solo violin. It's made to meet the wishes of Prof. Mathias Boegner, for the performance in Thailand (2011). Prof Mathias wanted a composition that is "new" with Indonesian atmosphere. Because the piece for the unaccompanied solo violin from Indonesian composer is still rare.

ASA portray sound of wanderer of Asa or expectations, that longing for satisfaction. The instinct and desire that wanders after the wild lust, flirtation and pain.

The composition landscape of wanderer could be heard from the music that's written without bars. The odyssey of hope is not "constrained" by a certain meters. The primary material is the sound itself. It sounds very dissonant tone and lots of clashes, because in the wanderings, a hope almost never resolved in an absolute harmony.
